It has been a while since I’ve come up with and/or submitted a new pattern to TanglePatterns.com. This one I love doing. It can be done various ways and there are so many embellishments that look amazing that this may be my new favorite. I would love to see what you do with this one!

Zentangle Pattern: Shuri

I had fun with this new pattern. It has so many possibilities for shading and drawing. I think the diagonal version would be really fun for fourth of July tangles. The name came from my daughter who thought the centers looked like the Japanese throwing star Shuriken.
